Hike through the ancient oak woods of Sunart or stroll along the white sandy beaches at Ardtoe, Kentra or Sanna Bay, there is terrain here to suit everyone. 

From Caberfeidh you are just a short stroll to the beach at Kentra with Loch Moidart, The Singing Sands and Ardtoe beach just a few miles away.  The area here is flat and suitable for those wanting a more gentle pace and there are detailed directions of over a dozen walks at the house. 

From Honeysuckle Cottage you can easily walk up into the surrounding hills.

Fort William

Known as the Outdoor Capital of the United Kingdom, Fort William is just 8 miles north of the Corran Ferry.  It is the largest town in the west Highlands of Scotland and is the commercial centre of Lochaber, an area renowned for magnificient scenery with an important history.  Home to Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and its deepest loch, Loch Morar, with beautiful glens, forests and beaches in between.
