Ardnamurchan stretches from Loch Linnhe in the east to the Atlantic Ocean in the west and its wild beauty, forests and rocky landscapes provide many opportunities for exploring the area by car.

From either of our properties you can get to many wonderful places both in Ardnamurchan or slightly further afield.

1. Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and Sanna Bay
2. The Glenfinnan Monument at the top of Loch Shiel where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised the standard for the 1745 Rebellion
3. The fishing port of Mallaig, from where you can take a ferry to the Isle of Skye or visit the Heritage Centre
4. Loch Ness - north on the A82 out of Fort William
5. The silver sands of Morar with its rock framed white beaches, the wonderful location used in the films 'Local Hero' and 'Highlander'.
6. Pollach to the Ariundle Nature Reserve and past the old lead mines and the forestry village
7. Kingairloch to visit the wild goats
8. Dorlin to the ruin of Castle Tioram
