More than your usual holiday cottage, Caber Faidh is a very well equipped detached house situated in an unspoiled area surrounded by hills and woodland and just a short walk from the quiet and sandy shoreline at Kentra Bay. Away from traffic, Caber Faidh provides peace and privacy amongst wonderful scenery. The flat lanes surrounding the house are perfect for cycling and children can enjoy a safe and level area for riding their bikes.

The house has recently been redecorated throughout, has wooden floors with rugs and comfortable furniture, all the kitchen appliances you'd expect plus extra accessories to make your stay perfect.

Living Room

A bright room with a wood-burning stove (we'll provide you with enough logs to keep you going throughout your stay). We have large, comfortable sofas and a flat screen LCD television which has all terrestrial channels together with basic Sky TV and you'll find DVD and video players with a film library.

Dining Room

Seats eight comfortably on leather chairs around the large wooden table and has a radio/CD player with a selection of music plus lots of candles should you wish to dine by candlelight.

Caberfeidh has books, board games and playing cards plus a toy box for our younger visitors to explore. There is plenty of information about the local area too.

Kitchen

Overlooking the rear garden and fully fitted with an electric cooker, a microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge with a freezer and tumble dryer situated in the back lobby area just off the kitchen.

Downstairs bathroom

Fully tiled and has an over-bath shower. Bath and hand towels are provided free of charge.

The three bedrooms are all upstairs and are flexible so they can be organised to suit your party’s needs; they can be adapted for two families very easily.

Master Bedroom

King-size bed plus a double sofa bed which will be made up on request. This room is at the front of the house and looks out over the wonderfully peaceful and unspoiled countryside.

The Second Bedroom

A twin room which also has a double sofa bed should you require it. This room is at the front of the house and has wonderful views out across the countryside.

The Third Bedroom

With bunks plus a trundle bed with proper mattress which can be pulled out and made up if necessary. This room looks out over the rear garden and countryside beyond. This room is home to the Playstation 2 (with games) plus the video recorder with a selection of films to keep your children occupied if the weather's not so good.

Garden

Fully enclosed, mainly lawned with flower beds to the front and trees to the rear, surrounds the house and has garden furniture (table, chairs with cushions and parasol) and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining during the warmer months.

General Info

Caberfeidh has a Playstation 2 with a selection of games and has free WIFI access and a telephone with honesty box.

A travel cot with bed linen and a highchair are available should you require them.

Visitor Information

Mull

The isle of Mull is worth a visit as it's so near to Ardnamurchan. The island has 300 miles of scenic coastline and stunning beaches and is just a 35 minute ferry ride away from Kilchoan (summer time only) or a 15 minute journey from Lochaline (year round) and Tobermory's colourful houses are home to the famous children's TV series Ballamory.
